Our Vacation Bible School (VBS) ends today.
We thank you for bringing your children to learn of Jesus. Thank you, teachers and leaders, for a job well done. Christian parents who carry on their parenting responsibility dutifully, in Christ-like authority, may succeed in raising and training up well-balanced children in mind and spirit.
The Bible says in Prov. 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Successful parenting requires team effort. Society is full of results of failure in parenting: confusion, indiscipline and rebellion, all which to a great degree result from ill training.
Finally, our parenting responsibility can never be deemed complete unless our children inherit from us a spiritual legacy.
May God make us responsible parents and guardians.
